Style Overview
Pop Fiction is where vibrancy and playfulness collide to breathe life into your headshot. Its animated tone creates a semi-realistic rendering that carries a distinctive punch. Bold outlines define form with graphic clarity, while strong colour application — warm skin tones, vivid clothing, expressive shading — builds a portrait that reads at a glance and rewards closer attention. The style takes influence from pop-art illustration traditions: the clean aesthetic of comic and graphic novel portraiture, reimagined for professional use. Pop Fiction works particularly well for:- Creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and personal brands who want energy and personality in their visual identity
- Founders and teams in media, marketing, technology, and the creative industries
- Social profiles, speaker pages, newsletters, and brand content where visual impact matters
- Anyone who wants a professionally commissioned portrait that doesn’t look like every other executive headshot

What’s Included
Every Pop Fiction order includes the following high-resolution files, delivered to your account once you approve the final portrait:- White background JPEG — 4072×3256px, ready for immediate use across digital and print contexts
- Transparent background PNG — 4072×3256px, for placement on any colour, background, or design layout

Reference Submission
Upload your reference photo at checkout or any time after placing your order. Every submission is reviewed personally before work begins. If a different photo would produce a stronger result, the studio will reach out before starting.
Artist Commission
Your portrait is assigned to a studio artist whose expertise fits the Pop Fiction style. Every line, outline, and area of colour is drawn and applied by hand from your reference photo — no templates, no automation.
Review & Refinement
Once your portrait is ready, it’s sent to you for review. Two rounds of refinements are included with every order. Submit any feedback directly, and the artist will make adjustments before final approval.
Most portraits are completed within 7–10 business days. If you’re working to a specific deadline, contact Bareface before ordering to confirm availability.
Reference Photo Tips
Pop Fiction’s bold style works best when the reference photo gives the artist clear, well-lit facial detail to work from. For the strongest result:- Composition — your face, neck, and upper torso should be clearly visible and unobstructed
- Lighting — natural or even lighting without harsh shadows or heavy overexposure
- Focus — a sharp, clear image rather than a cropped or blurry one
- Expression — submit the expression you want in the final portrait; it’s drawn directly from the reference and is not adjusted during refinements
