When your portrait is approved, your finished files are made available through your secure customer portal immediately — there is no waiting period after approval. Every commission includes a standard set of high-resolution digital files suitable for professional use across any medium, from your website and LinkedIn profile to printed marketing materials and presentations. If you added the source file to your order, that is delivered to the same location alongside your finals.
Bareface delivers all portraits digitally. No physical media — USB drives, prints, or otherwise — is included unless separately arranged with the studio prior to your order.

What’s included with every portrait

Every completed commission includes the following files: Both files are sized and optimised for professional use at any scale. The PNG’s transparent background makes it especially versatile — you can place your portrait over any colour or image without needing to manually remove a background. Every commission also includes a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming that your portrait is an original hand-drawn work created by a Bareface studio artist.

Optional add-on: layered Photoshop source file

If you need full creative control over your portrait — for example, to hand it off to a design agency, integrate it into a broader brand system, or make future modifications — you can add the layered Photoshop (PSD) source file to your order at checkout. This file contains the master artwork with editable layers, giving designers the flexibility to adjust individual elements without affecting the rest of the composition.
The PSD source file add-on is non-refundable once delivered. If you’re unsure whether you need it, consider whether your design team or agency will require direct access to the layered artwork before adding it to your order.

How to download your files

Once your portrait is approved, your files are available in your account immediately. To download:
  1. Log in to your customer account.
  2. Navigate to your order.
  3. Select the files you want to download and save them to your device.
Your files remain accessible in your account for 1 year from the date of purchase, so you can return and re-download them at any time within that period.

Data retention and reference images

Bareface stores your completed portrait files and associated source files for 1 year from your purchase date. We recommend downloading and backing up your files to your own storage shortly after delivery. Reference photographs submitted with your order are handled separately: they are deleted 30 days after your project is completed and are not retained beyond that point.
